TimeHuntr is a game about guessing years. This page says plainly what we store about you, why, and what we never do with it.
What we store
- Account basics — when you sign in with Discord, Google or Steam we receive your name, avatar and (for Discord/Google) email address from that provider. We store those plus the username you pick. We never see your password.
- Game history— your matches, guesses, scores, ranked rating, and which rounds you've been served (so you don't get repeats). Scoreboards and leaderboards show your username and scores to other players; that's the point of them.
- A session cookie — required to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
- Analytics— on the production site we use Google Analytics to understand which parts of the game people play (pages, matches started and finished, scores). We don't sell this or combine it with your account for advertising.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data.
- Send marketing email (we may send account-critical mail).
- Show ads inside a round.
Where it lives
Account and game data live in a managed Postgres database (Supabase, EU/US cloud infrastructure). Game images are hosted on Cloudflare R2 and come from freely licensed sources with attribution shown in-game.
Deleting your data
Email hello@timehuntr.com from the address linked to your account (or include your username) and we'll delete your account and its game history. Leaderboard entries go with it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date. Questions: hello@timehuntr.com.
